A Shop Assistant’s cover letter is the most important part of an application when applying for a job. More often than not, the employer sees a cover letter before a resume and half decides whether the applicant is eligible or not. A letter needs to be precise yet have enough content to make the employer want to pick up an applicant’s resume with interest.

Let us have a look at an example here; An applicant looking for a job as a shop assistant would look for a place where he would be able to apply his skills in terms of customer services, good communication, and supervisory skills and of course experience in retail activities.

It is important that the applicant does not give out too much information in a cover letter as that will not leave much room for giving out information at the actual interview.

A Shop Assistant Cover Letter is essentially a selling gimmick for an applicant’s qualities which should leave the employer wondering and looking forward to discovering what the former has to offer. Hence, a cover letter has to be a very good piece of writing because it can very well act as a deciding factor for an employer.
