Pipefitter Cover Letter Sample

Updated on March 10, 2019

Pipefitters perform pipefitting activities in residential and commercial settings.

They usually work on industrial piping systems to install, test and maintain high and low volume pipes. They also install gauges and regulators that are used to operate piping systems.

Most of the training for a pipefitter’s job is done on the job.

On the other hand, some vocational schools also offer pipefitting courses. People usually prefer to work as apprentices to learn the tricks of the trade; many employers favor pipefitter applicants who have over 1000 work hours as an apprentice.

In order to build an effective cover letter for pipefitter resume, you should mention your ability to read and interpret blueprints along with a strong knowledge of handling pipe-cutting and fitting activities.
