Mr. Kylo Ren
Hiring Manager
Tech USA
897 Glade Road
Stafford, VA 58985

Dear Mr. Ren:

As a recent high school graduate with 32 credits in shop class, I believe that I am ready for a pipefitter apprenticeship at Tech USA.

Shop class at Stafford High School runs on quite a broad curriculum and places particular focus on the journey-level experience. I have been taught to read isometric drawings of piping systems and can also draw ISO’s of field-run piping, along with fabricating from set designs. I have applied for the NCCR certification and will be able to acquire it by the end of the month as well.

I am confident that my ability to layout, fabricate and assemble carbon and stainless steel piping will be of great use to you, as you will not need to spend too much time, money, or effort in training me. Mainly, I am proficient in the use of cutting torches, plasma arc, and cutting machines with some exposure to operating rigid power threading equipment.

I would love to meet with you to provide you with a more comprehensive view of my abilities. Thank you for your time and consideration.
