Cabin attendants or flight attendants provide ongoing service to passengers during the course of a flight. They are expected to provide safety instructions to passengers and make sure that they feel comfortable throughout their journey.

Before a plane is ready to fly, a cabin attendant will make sure that all supplies are replenished and that all equipment is in proper working order. They greet passengers as they board the plane and seat them according to their boarding passes and assigned seat numbers.
