What makes you an excellent person to hire as an office manager?

I possess a huge array of skills that are pertinent to this role. For example, I am well-versed in managing files and records systems, and can effectively oversee and direct the work of clerical and administrative staff.

In addition, I am proficient in greeting visitors, answering a high volume of calls, and managing office supplies inventory systems. Also, I am skilled in managing internal and external correspondence, such as emails, letters, and memos.

In your opinion, what is the hardest part of working as an office manager?

I believe that work is challenging overall. No one part of it is more challenging than the other.

Tell us of a time when you did something that can be considered a great accomplishment.

In my present place of employment, I managed to overhaul the existing inventory system, as a result, making it 60% more efficient than it was. This was received very positively by my superiors, earning me a high commendation.

What do you think is the most important duty of an office manager?

I believe that all duties of an office manager are equally important. But if I am to pick one up, I’d say it is managing staff members in order to ensure that they work well continuously.

Organizational skills are critical when you’re working in any management capacity. This is because organizational abilities are what you will primarily need in order to ensure that your work is of great quality.
