A bike shop manager’s main work is to ensure that the shop runs smoothly from all ends. Overseeing the store to ensure that all processes are properly conducted will be a major part of your work. Since this is a managerial role, it may require one to perform some supervisory functions.

Other criteria include knowledge of shop management, along with the ability to provide excellent customer services. • Help customers in choosing the right bikes and accessories by providing expert opinion

• Assist in determining the right bike types for different budgets
• Draw up contracts for selling bikes and accessories, and make necessary changes
• Create work orders for repair and maintenance offerings
• Ensure that all service processes are quickly and efficiently carried out
• Oversee thorough and accurate bike building and accessory installation work
• Maintain efficient work and service areas
• Assist salespeople in answering technical questions in order to expedite buying
