Building a winning resume for an entry-level healthcare position can be an exciting task if considerable time is in hand.

Beginners like to experiment with various formats in resume writing and sometimes end up creating over-formatted resumes.

When deciding on formatting, one needs to keep in mind that the average prospective employer is always short of time.

Do highlight your strengths, be creative in formatting, but make sure:

Is your resume readable?
Is it easily understandable?
Can the reader instantly make any sense out of it?

These considerations are critical, especially in an entry-level healthcare resume because of aggressive competition in the field.
