• Greet customers as they arrive at the Bob Evans restaurant outlet and assist them in finding suitable tables
• Ascertain that a host or hostess is available to take patrons’ orders by informing them of the latter’s arrival
• Serve water and other drinks according to the specific requirements of patrons
• Obtain order sheets from hosts or hostesses and relay order to the backend
• Follow up on each order to ensure timely delivery to the patron
• Check portioning and accuracy each prepared order and serve it to the coinciding table number
• Refill patrons’ drinks and water glasses and ensure that any extra condiments or napkins are provided as and when asked for
• Expedite the payment process by providing cashiers with exact information of each order and handing bills to hosts or hostesses
• Clear tables when patrons leave and ensure that all soiled cutlery and dishware is safely transported to the kitchen area
• Arrange for the cleaning of each table and replenish tableware
• Ascertain that the supplies station is properly stocked at all times and inform managers of any low supplies
• Encourage customers to fill out service cards at the end of their meals and ensure that all service cards are properly organized and filed
