2. What is the one duty that you feel is most challenging when working as a communications officer?

Creating communications strategies is easy. Implementing them is not so much. In fact, implementing communications strategies is the most difficult part of the job.

3. How do you cope with the stress associated with your work?

Work stress can actually be good for you. With stress comes a sense of responsibility as well. When I’m stressed, I ensure that I take one thing at a time so that it does not affect my work.

4. Tell us of one achievement that you have to your name.

To be honest, I have many. But if I am to pick one up, I’d choose the time I singlehandedly created and implemented a marketing and communications strategy that was quite complex. The results were more than what was expected, and I was highly commended on my initiative and hard work.

5. How do you feel about working in a team?

No matter which organization you work for, or at what level, teamwork is extremely important. This is what I advocate in my work environment as well.

6. Tell us a little about your future career aspirations?

I am working hard to learn the ropes. Eventually, I would like to climb the ladder to the position of communications director.
