1. Why did you choose to work as an unarmed security officer?

I wanted to work in law enforcement as I wanted to make a positive contribution to society. And since I am not too fond of weapons, it only made sense that I applied for a job as an unarmed security officer.

2. How do you feel about guns and other weapons that are necessary to carry out law and order?

I am not very fond of any weapon that can be used for destruction. As far as law and order is concerned, guns and tasers are the norms nowadays and while they may be used in self-defense, I believe that it is best to try to work without them.

3. What are the primary duties of an unarmed security officer?

Over the course of the 4 years that I have worked as an unarmed security officer, I have been assigned to work in many different places, including parks and government properties. My main work has been patrolling the premises, ensuring that the property and its inhabitants are secure, making notes of any problems and addressing those problems immediately, and assisting visitors with directions and any problems they may be facing.

4. What skills do you possess that make you an excellent contender to work at this position?

I have great analytic abilities which make it easy for me to judge circumstances and intervene when necessary. Possessing an organized mind and the physical agility to handle problematic situations is my niche. Also, I am exceptionally customer-service-oriented and can work calmly and diligently in adverse situations.

5. If you were given a choice, would you want to pick up another profession?

No. I love my work as an unarmed security officer and I wouldn’t change it for the world!
