There’s a great chance that your cover letter is not up to the mark if you are a first timer.
As an entry level general laborer with no experience in hand, it is your job to make sure that your cover letter is at the very top. By this, we mean that it must be exceptionally worded.
Cover letters are meant to tell hiring managers what you are capable of doing on several planes. If you fulfil the criteria, you will be considered an excellent choice to hire. If not, you will need to sit back and redo your cover letter to show that you are indeed an exceptional candidate.
A lot of effort and hard work is required where general labor cover letter writing is concerned. Writing one is no child’s play – you have to think and then put your thoughts into words in an effective fashion.
Here is a cover letter sample for an entry level general laborer position to help you along:
Entry Level General Labor Cover Letter (No Experience)
December 27, 2017
Mr. Raymond Hall
Human Resource Manager
3263 Tee Road
Terry, MS 18364
Dear Mr. Hall:
As a committed and dexterous General Labor I am very interested in joining your team. I have recently completed an apprenticeship at Building Works where I learnt the ropes of general labor work in a fast paced environment. Owing to this exposure, I believe that I am now ready to provide my services in this role to your organization.
As an assistant to construction workers on many projects, including building roads and buildings, I was instrumental in providing support pertaining to hauling materials, digging trenches, operating tools and equipment, aligning structures and forms, and ensuring that all equipment and tools were properly put away at the end of my shift.
Since I am both physically dexterous and exceptionally dedicated, I was usually chosen to provide assistance with complex building project modules. In addition to this, I have provided my services for the Golden Bridge Complex on Catalyst Road, which is now a great tourist attraction.
If you are in the market to hire someone who is exceptional at what he does, and has been commended for it several times, you need to look no further than this letter and the accompanying resume. I will call you soon to set up a time when I can meet with you and shed further light on my abilities.
Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you.
