Insurance Appraiser Cover Letter Sample

The first thing that you must do before writing a cover letter for an insurance appraiser position is to find out what the recruiter wants.

If you have worked in this capacity before, you will know the work. But it is essential to figure out the exact needs of a hiring manager.

Once you have done your research, you must choose a proper cover letter format and begin writing.

Include information regarding your ability to check buildings and vehicles in order to determine the type of damage that has been incurred.

Additionally, you must highlight how much you know about calculating insurance coverage payments and copays. Similarly, your ability to fill out and submit insurance forms must be emphasized.

Knowing the insurance system inside out will help you tremendously in figuring out what you can write in your cover letter.

Since a hiring manager would want to hire an individual who does not need too many resources spent on him or her, you must show that you are the best person.

Mr. Gregory Howards
Human Resources Manager
EXL Insurance Giants
80 Island Road
Omaha, NE 13058

Dear Mr. Howards:

This letter and the attached resume is a strong expression of interest in the Insurance appraiser position at EXL Insurance Giants.

I have spent the last four years working as an Insurance appraiser for Prime Insurance. During this time, I have gathered many skills such as the ability to determine damages to properties, and knowledge of associated work processes. Given this expertise, I am confident that I will be a great hire.

Insurance appraising work has not always been easy. In fact, most of my cases have been quite challenging. In the good news department, I am extremely well-versed in handling complex insurance appraising work. This can be proven by the way in which I dealt with the Bailey fire case, as you may have seen in the news.

Owing to my exceptional ability to determine fraudulently filed cases, I have often been assigned ones that have a related edge to them. Typically, my skills lie in inspecting damaged premises and vehicles and determining payment liabilities. In addition, I possess demonstrated expertise in determining salvage values.

Due to my exceptionally insightful nature, I can determine genuine cases that need immediate attention. Managing cost estimates and handling insurance payout documentation is also a significant part of my work, all of which I am skilled in to a great extent.

It will be a pleasure to work with EXL Insurance Giants as an insurance appraiser. I will get in touch with your office soon to see if we can meet in person next week. Until an interview is scheduled, you may reach me at (000) 252-3908.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Melinda Brew
