When to write a driver cover letter?
A cover letter for driving jobs might be written in the following circumstances:
In reply to a job advertisement
This is a letter that you write when you see a job advertisement that suits your professional profile and interest perfectly.
You write a prospecting letter where there is a need for self-marketing but no known job openings.
These are sent to a large number of possible employers.
These are not sent to an employer directly. Instead, they are written to those with whom you have some affinities such as fellow alumni or your local civic organization.
Too many types?
The good news is that most of these letters are written in more or less the same way.
The opening and closing sentence of these might vary, depending on the situation that it is being written in but typically, the content is not different from any regular cover letter.
Here is an example of a standard cover letter for a driver resume.
