Wedding Photographer Cover Letter Sample

Updated on: November 12, 2016

Cover letters are finding digital docks now which makes it easier for you to write them. One problem still remains – how to appeal to a hiring manager’s cover letter taste buds? This is something that you may not find an answer for. Impressing hiring managers is not easy. But it’s not impossible either. Taking the wheel when attempting to impress an employer is imperative to your job application success.

A standout letter for wedding photographer resume is one that begins with a bang and ends with an action close. Getting the reader interested in what you have to offer is primary. Everything else comes later. Once you have grabbed the reader’s interest, it is your job to keep him constantly interested. Your choice of words and phrases will ensure this. And how you articulate your abilities will further augment it.

Whether it is a prospecting letter, a broadcasting one or one that can be categorized as a networking one, your language and tone matter as much as your skills and qualifications do. Customizing your cover letter to the specific requirements of the person who is going to read it, and using name dropping techniques will be beneficial to your cause. Mr. Mark Fleetwood
Hiring Manager
The Wedding Photographers
745 Beach Road
Virginia Beach, VA 50255

Dear Mr. Fleetwood:

Photography has been a passion of mine since the day I set foot in my first photography class in 2005. There has been no turning back since then. Finding my niche in wedding photography 7 years ago, I have been many clients’ choice photographer who want their events not just covered but etched in eternal memory.

Using an extensive range of technical equipment such as cameras, lenses, lighting and specialist software, I have been successful in meeting clients’ demands for their wedding coverage quite effectively. The use of props and backdrops and how to aesthetically make them a magical part of a wedding memory is my niche. Additionally, my technology skills are exceptionally well-placed – creating beautiful and neatly managed digital albums is just one thing that I am widely known for within the Virginia Beach area.

With a great ability to keep up with industry trends, and aiming at beating the competition with my skills and aesthetic outlook to how wedding photography can be managed, I am positive that The Wedding Photographers will benefit from my contribution. To elaborate how, I would like to meet with you in person, for which I will contact you soon. In the interim, I can be reached at (000) 965-5243.

Sincerely,

(Signature)
Henry Horrid
