1. Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I have always been a health-conscious individual, and have aspired to work in this capacity for a very long time. About 8 years ago, I trained in wellness and health, and have been working in this area since then.
2. What duties have you performed as a wellness coordinator?
As a wellness coordinator, I have been busy performing a wide variety of tasks, including providing individual counseling and support to clients and researching and developing innovative wellness initiatives. In addition, I have been preparing and implementing budgets, as well as strategic and operational plans. In addition, my work includes teaching fitness and wellness to clients, in accordance with their specific requirements.
3. What are some of the skills that you possess which make you an excellent person to hire?
I am a highly insightful individual, with a solid grasp on providing leadership to wellness programs. Recruiting and facilitating wellness leaders and representatives within schools, colleges, and other institutions is also an area of skill that I offer. Moreover, I am well-versed in selecting event hosts and health and fitness practitioners to ensure proper client outreach.

5. How important do you think corporate wellness is?
Corporate wellness is extremely important, as it aids in a successful goal meeting. All the corporate wellness programs that I have led have been exceptionally successful, because of the dire need for it, and my ability to fill that need.
6. How do you determine who can participate in a wellness program?
I feel that everyone can and should participate in wellness programs. My methodology is simple – whoever feels the pressure of work or life, should essentially participate in a wellness program.
7. What is your major strength?
My major strength is my ability to convince people to involve themselves in wellness programs.
8. What is your greatest weakness?
My greatest weakness is my focus on perfection. I want to achieve perfection every time, but I also understand that it is not possible.
9. How do you handle your stress?
I am trained not to take stress to head. Since I run wellness programs, I am aware of the different processes used to reduce and manage stress.
10. What is your method of motivating your staff?
I am all for motivating my staff on a daily basis. I make sure that I praise their efforts on a regular basis, and provide them with opportunities to grow.
11. How much do you depend on your leadership abilities?
I depend highly on my leadership abilities to ensure that my work is properly carried out. Since I do not micromanage, I depend on my leadership qualities to perfectly lead staff members to meet their goals.
12. What is your opinion on research and development?
I believe that research and development is an important part of working as a wellness coordinator. Since I have to coordinate wellness and health work processes, I have to know new trends, and how to effectively incorporate them into my wellness programs.
13. What has been your core work as a wellness coordinator?
Apart from regular job duties, my core work includes developing wellness mission statements while establishing goals for each program. Communicating and executing mission statements to all employees is also a core responsibility that I have.
14. How well-versed are you in working with administrative staff members?
I am exceptionally well-versed in assisting office managers in creating and planning wellness opportunities. I am also competent in planning periodic wellness opportunities for corporate offices. Assisting in coordinating the recruiting and training of new members is also work that I am qualified to perform.
15. What is your experience with risk management?
I have solid experience in risk management and have performed risk analysis and strategic implementations a number of times.
16. How do you handle adversity at the workplace?
I do not have any space of adversity in my life. Wellness and adversity just do not go together. So, I minimize conflict as much as possible while ensuring that any hint of adversity is investigated and sorted out immediately.
17. Tell us of a time when you resolved a conflict.
I have been involved in resolving conflicts many times. Recently, a fellow wellness coordinator, working on a different project, pointed out that my wellness strategy was flawed. I took his opinion into consideration but figured that there was nothing of the sort. My temper did flare up a bit as the coworker was too sure about my inability to handle things. But I kept it in check and told him that I will see to it, leaving him out of the equation.

I see myself leading a team of wellness coordinators, to perform high-end health and fitness outreach work.
