PCA Job Description and Scope

A Personal Care Aide is responsible for providing assistance with ADLs (activities of daily living) and homemaking to clients, generally at their residence. They are accountable for implementing the service and care plan that is designed for a particular client.

To become eligible for this position, you must be at least 18 years of age having at least a high school diploma, GED or equivalent and valid driver’s license of your state of residence as well as a reliable transportation. You need to be flexible enough to work all overtime in shifts including weekend, holiday and night.
