Mr. Kirk Peterson

Hilo, HI 95874

Dear Mr. Peterson:

I have worked as a tour guide for 10 years. I took up this work as a career because I feel that one should work in a capacity where one enjoys work. And the fact that I love and enjoy my work immensely can be shown in the way I lead tours. I am sure that once you have gone through the enclosed resume, you too will be convinced that I am the right person to hire as a tour guide at Blue Tours Inc.

Over the years that I have worked in this capacity, I have acquired skills in many areas, such as developing and implementing schedules and ensuring proper direction to tourists. The main reason that my tours are so famous is the fact that they are well-organized, and in sync with the general requirements of all tourist groups.

Specifically, I am well-versed in leading groups on sightseeing tours, providing them with information on historical and political significances of different areas within the city, and in its outskirts. Since I believe that a well-organized tour is a successful one, I make sure that all areas such as timelines and safety measures are well taken care of.

Interested in providing you with a more profound idea of what my skills as a tour guide are, I would like to meet with you in person, to arrange which, I will call your office soon. In the interim, please feel free to contact me at (000) 374-8892.

Thank you for your consideration of me as a candidate for the Tour Guide position at Blue Tours Inc.
