1. Why do you think that you are a great person to hire as a greeter?

I am an excellent individual for a greeter position, as I am inherently pleasant. It is easy for me to work at the first tier, as I have no dearth of smiles to give and possess a consistently happy disposition.

2. What duties have you performed as a greeter in a previous role?

As a greeter, I have handled many work duties at the front end. Some of these include:

• Greeting visitors and guests and providing them with the right information
• Directing guests and visitors to their required areas and personnel
• Responding to questions regarding services and products
• Assisting in finding products and connecting with the right people
• Gathering shopping carts and placing them in the right areas
• Providing assistance with deliveries and bagging

3. what do you find most enjoyable when working as a greeter?

The work is simple enough and provides me with the opportunity to meet so many different types of people. I enjoy meeting new people every day, and helping them with their queries gives me a great sense of achievement.

4. What is the most challenging part of working as a greeter?

As I mentioned before, the work is quite simple. However, it does require being on your feet for long periods of time, which can become a bit taxing at times.

5. What do you do when you feel taxed?

The good thing is that my current employers are extremely kind people. They make sure that they give me breaks when I can sit down and relax, and make me ready for the next round.

6. Tell us about a time when your mettle as an individual was truly tested.

Not long ago, I was tasked with handling 800 guests in one shift. This happened during an international conference, and neither did the management at the hotel nor did I anticipate this many people. Thankfully, I managed to greet them all properly and guide them effectively without any major mishaps.
