What job duties have you performed while working as a food expeditor?

I have worked as a food expeditor for 5 years, during which I have handled many tasks such and planning and managing order flow between patrons and kitchen areas.

Specifically, my duties include obtaining order sheets from wait staff members, and ensuring that kitchen staff is provided with order details. In addition, I am responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate preparation of food so efficient deliveries can be made.

Tell us a little about your skills in this role.

As a food expeditor, I am well-versed in many areas, such as ensuring proper flow of orders between kitchen and restaurant areas and handling issues related to late orders.

Additionally, I am qualified to oversee food preparation work so as to ensure timely delivery and preparation. Also, I am talented in delivering orders to maintain fast service.

What is the one skill that you depend on, which makes you an excellent individual to hire?

Even though I believe that working as a food expeditor requires an amalgamation of skills and abilities, my capability of remaining organized at all times is what makes me an excellent person to hire.

How do you handle irate customers?

Even though I am not usually at the forefront, if the fault lies in my inability to deliver orders timely, I do intervene and try to resolve the issue by apologizing, and ensuring that something similar does not transpire again.

What is the one thing that you feel that must change at your present place of work?

My present place of work is quite well-planned as far as customer services go. However, I would want them to change the way that they handle portioning tasks.

What are your 5-year plans?

I love cooking. Eventually, I would like to train as a cook, a feat that I am already working towards.
