Mr. Harold Buller
Human Resources Manager
ABC School
100 Columbus Road
West Chester, PA 66654

Dear Mr. Buller:

I am interested in obtaining the math tutor position at ABC School. Owing to my proficiency in teaching elementary and advanced math concepts, I am sure that I will provide great benefit to your students.

The last year or so, I have spent helping my neighbors’ children with their math homework and projects. This exposure has taught me the many different challenges that children face with the subject. However, it is not just tutoring in a personal capacity where my skills lie.

In fact, I am well-versed in many areas, such as exam readiness, and conceptual clarity. Since my math is strong in both algebra and geometry, I can teach students by clarifying concepts for them in a profound manner.

Additionally, my skills lie in providing tutoring assistance to students struggling in certain areas, or mathematics as a whole. Maintaining awareness of students’ goals and objectives is my forte. In addition, I am knowledgeable in many areas, such as progress monitoring, and one on one mentoring.

I am positive that my skills in tutoring students on a one-on-one basis, and in groups will be highly appreciated by you. I will call you soon to set up a meeting time. You may contact me at (000) 999-0909 if required.

Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Trisha Lively
