11. What does failure mean to you?
To me, failure is just a step forward. When an event goes wrong despite my best efforts, I feel bad obviously, but I also see it as an opportunity to learn what I did wrong so that the mistake isn’t repeated.

I was once working with a colleague to set up a children’s birthday party event. There were these tall pillars that were part of the décor. I wanted to buy the best ones to ensure sturdiness. He told me that we should go with the cheapest ones as they were as aesthetically pleasing to the eye. My argument with him was that we will be putting children’s physical safety at risk if we did this. After an initial argument, he agreed to what I was saying.

I see myself heading an event management organization, with many event managers working under me.
