The whole cover letter writing saga has been discussed a million times. But even then, it has not lost its essence. Good cover letter writing is important to the success of your job application. A well thought out cover letter speaks volumes about your suitability. Dull ones speak a lot about your disinterest.
For instance, if you are writing a cover letter for the position of a special events manager, you will need to put in a lot of creativity – because creativity is part of your work. When you talk creatively, you are actually helping the employer make decisions in your favor. As a special events manager, you will probably be doing a lot of multitasking. In your cover letter, you should be able to tell the employer that you are someone who can handle more than one task at a time – and come out shining.
