• Prepare project specifications, budgets, and timescales after conferring with clients
• Perform relevant research to determine how an engineering project will take off
• Develop and test electrical systems designs and implement them according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the company
• Manage development and deployment of wiring systems, lighting, navigation systems, and other utilities
• Test implemented electrical systems and isolate/report defects
• Perform corrective measures to ensure that defects are troubleshot on time
• Determine the best possible routes for power supplies and power flow
• Integrate complex electrical components into existing and new electrical systems
• Conduct field investigations and create and file associated reports
• Perform system calculations including voltage drop, motor starting, load flow, and short circuit studies
• Develop test requirements and ensure that all tests are performed and documented

• Operate computer-assisted design software to develop and edit initial electrical plans
• Perform calculations to establish standards and specifications about construction and manufacturing
