Rental Car Driver Cover Letter Sample

The cover letter is a great window into an applicant’s professional existence. And it needs to be handled in a certain way.

Cover letter writing has always been a bit complicated, and it always will be. This is because one cannot possibly know what a hiring manager is looking for in a new employee (except for what he or she obviously states in a job advertisement), which makes it a bit complex for applicants. But it is something that has to be done.

There is no shortcut to writing a good cover letter. You have to do your research and then write one accordingly. Since you cannot possibly make the hiring manager happy by 100%, you have to strive to come as close as possible.

What is most important here is your ability to communicate to a hiring manager that there is no one better than you to do the job that he or she has advertised. A little like this:

Mr. Richard Gibbler
Human Resource Manager
GCA Services Group Inc.
19 Acorn Avenue
New Albany, OH 84723

Dear Mr. Gibbler:

Owing to the fact that I have much experience under my belt, and do not have a single driving felony to my name, I am sure that I am just the right person to be hired as a rental car driver. It has been almost a decade since I began working as a rental car driver. Much has changed over the years, including the way that maps are read, and I am proud to say that I have kept up with it all.

Charting short and safe routes using standard maps and the GPS, creating and maintaining effective relationships with passengers/clients, ensuring that passengers reach their destinations in a timely and safe manner, and providing recurring services to existing clients are some of the areas where my qualities as a rental car driver are most profound.

Exceptional grasp of performing regular and preventative maintenance work on assigned cars is also something that makes me a great person to hire at this position. Additionally, I am aware of handling detailing work on assigned cars, ensuring that passengers have no cause for complaint.

To set up an interview where I can further elaborate on my suitability for a rental car driver position, I will contact you after a few days.

Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you.
