Claims Adjuster Trainee Cover Letter Sample

Updated on: May 26, 2023

Writing a cover letter for the first time can be nerve-wracking, and for a good reason as well. One does not know what exactly it is that one has to write, and the whole process can become somewhat overwhelming.

What do job seekers do?

They should take ideas from successful cover letters. You will find many cover letter samples, but not all of them will be worth much. The trick is to read them all, and then derive information from them that may help you write your own.

One thing that you must remember – is never to copy and paste a cover letter as it is. Hiring managers are wary of people who do this, branding them as cheats, and never asking them to come in for an interview.

Mr. Arnold Forman
Human Resource Manager
Amtrust Financial
541 Mount Road
Chestertown, MD 56711

Dear Mr. Forman:

This letter is a strong expression of interest in the Claims Adjuster Trainee position at Amtrust Financial.

A recent internship in the claims department of Liberty Mutual, right after obtaining my high school diploma at the beginning of this year, has provided me with some insight into the work of a claims adjuster. Anticipating providing the benefit of my claims adjusting skills to Amtrust Financial, I would like to invite you to read the attached resume.

Exceptional knowledge of adjusting and documenting all claims within departmental standards, and in accordance with applicable laws and policy provisions is where my key strengths lie. As a proactive individual, you will find me handling claims adjusting work with exceptional professionalism and tact. Furthermore, I have some exposure to adjudicating claims with accuracy by working directly with different participants of a claims program.

I am well-versed in documenting reasons for denials and providing clients with heads-ups on how to manage appeals and reclaims. Reviewing and interpreting policy coverage to determine whether claims are payable under set policies, is something that I have helped with quite extensively.

I am positive that if I am hired for the position of claims adjuster trainee at AmTrust Financial, I will be nothing less than an asset to the company. To further discuss this, I will call you next week so that an interview can be arranged.

Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Rose Manning
