Position Title: Campus Monitor

Reports To: School Administration

Position Summary:
The Campus Monitor is responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly environment for students, staff, and visitors on the school campus. The incumbent will monitor student behavior, enforce school policies, and provide assistance as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor student activities in various areas of the campus including hallways, classrooms, and recreational areas.
  • Enforce school policies and rules to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Assist in conflict resolution and manage minor disciplinary issues.
  • Report any incidents, suspicious behavior, or unsafe conditions to appropriate school personnel.
  • Assist in emergency situations, including evacuations and lockdowns.
  • Support school events by providing crowd control and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and visitors to provide guidance and information.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents and actions taken.
  • Collaborate with other school staff to identify and address potential safety concerns.

Campus Monitor Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required educational background.
  • Experience in a School Environment: Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred.
