Carpet Installer Cover Letter Sample [+Guidance]

Updated on: March 16, 2021

You do not simply write a Carpet Installer cover letter – you create one. We used the word create because cover letters are works of art that need to be taken very seriously.

When you write a cover letter for the carpet installer resume, your main aim is to make the reader feel that you are everything that he had ever wanted in an employee. And this is only possible if you can clearly articulate your skills, qualifications, and accomplishments in writing.

Think of cover letters as documents that will bring interviews to you – but only if written correctly. There is one thing that you do have to keep in mind though.

You cannot think of a carpet installer cover letter as something that is the “norm”. Many people do not bother sending their resumes accompanied by cover letters. The ones who do, send ones written on pre-defined formats – these do nothing for a hiring manager’s appetite.

If an employer receives a carpet installer cover letter that is comprehensive and says all that he wants to hear, he will definitely give you an all-clear for an interview. On the other hand, if your cover letter is like muddy water – unclear – you can say goodbye to that particular job at least!

Dear Mr. Phillips:

As a dexterous individual who has deep expertise in handling commercial and residential clients’ carpeting needs, I believe that I am a good contender to work as a Carpet Installer at The Carpet People.

Here is why I think so:

  • Deeply familiar with measuring floor areas in an accurate manner, to ensure appropriate obtainment of carpet rolls and materials.
  • Highly skilled in cutting, trimming, and installing carpets according to set floor plans and ensuring that they fit around objects in a precise manner.
  • Exceptionally well-versed in planning carpeting layouts, allowing for expected traffic patterns and placing seams in an aesthetic manner.

To provide you with further information regarding my skills in installing carpets (and carefully and competently removing old carpets and floorings), I would like to meet with you in person. I will be in touch with your office next week to get an appointment for an interview. Until we get a chance to meet, you may contact me at (000) 777-5252.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Fredrick Mason
