Mr. Rupert Josh
Restaurant Manager
Captain Cook’s
651 First Street
Romney, WV 18362

Dear Mr. Josh:

Please accept this letter as my formal resignation from my position as Waitress on a two-weeks notice. Please note that October 30 will be my last working day.

By the end of November, I need to relocate to Ontario, Canada where my husband has been offered a new job that cannot be refused. Therefore, I have to move with him.

During the previous 7 years that I have worked here, I not only gained experience working in a restaurant environment but have also been given an opportunity to extend my friendship bank. All of my supervisors and colleagues developed me, for which I am extremely grateful.

Before I leave, I would like to train my replacement so that they customer flow at Captain Cook’s is not disturbed in any way. Please let me know if you have anyone in mind whom you would like me to train.

I would appreciate if you expedite my leaving documents as well as any accumulated dues in order to make this transition smooth. Thank you for providing me with this fantastic opportunity.

Sincerely,

(Signature)
Kimberly Sloe
