1. Why did you choose to work as a telephone technician?

Telecommunications is an area that I have always been highly interested in. During a short internship at a telecommunications company, I realized that this is what I wanted to do.

2. What have been your duties while working as a telephone technician?

As a telephone technician, I have been busy handling many work duties such as determining issues and problems associated with standalone phones, as well as PABX systems. My duties have included performing maintenance on telephone systems and ensuring that downtime is minimized. Also, I have been responsible for setting up, calibrating, and maintaining telephone systems for new and existing customers.

3. What is your opinion on customer service?

I am of the opinion that good customer services mean consistent business. I rank customer services very high, as customers are the backbone of all companies.

4. What do you find most challenging about the work?

To be honest, there isn’t one thing that I can identify which is challenging. The work in its entirety can be quite complex.

5. And how do you feel about working in a position where you have to work in all types of weather conditions?

When I chose to work as a telephone technician, I knew that I would have to contend with extreme heat and cold at times. I take it all in stride. It does not bother me.

6. What plans do you have for the future as far as your career is concerned?

I would like to move a little upward now. Specifically, I would like to learn the inner workings of telecommunications, and eventually work in an engineering capacity.
