2. In a nail technician role, what specific duties have you performed in the past?

I have worked as a nail technician for over 6 years now, and have been performing many core activities particular to this position. This includes determining what clients want in terms of nail services, providing them with detailed information on what the facility offers, inspecting their nails to determine what they actually require in terms of grooming, performing manicure and pedicure services, ensuring that grooming activities are performed to shape and augment nails, removing previously applied nail polish and nail art, removing dead skin, and performing massages. In addition to this, I have been trained in performing nail extension work, which is all the rage nowadays.

3. What is the one skill that you depend on when working as a nail technician?

To be perfectly honest, there isn’t just one skill that I depend on. Working as a nail technician requires one to possess an amalgamation of skills, such as the ability to understand what clients need, knowledge of performing core nail grooming activities, and ensuring that the services delivered are of high quality.

4. In a nail technician role, what has been your highest achievement?

I have many achievements to my name, but if I need to highlight just one, I would point out the fact that I was the one who introduced glycerin nail treatments in the city, which was a trend that other salons quickly started following.

I am working hard to climb the ladder to a position, where I can introduce new nail services that are not ordinary in nature. And I am sure that I will be able to develop them within the next 2 years.
