As a building maintenance technician, what duties have you performed in the past?
While working at this position, I have been involved in inspecting assigned buildings to determine needs for maintenance and repair, managed maintenance and repair work, ascertained that HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems are in a consistently working order, and assisted with painting and carpentry work.

What set of skills do you possess that make you an excellent contender for this work?
Knowledge of national, territorial and local building codes and regulations, deep insight into repairing and maintaining HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems, insight into handling inspection procedures, ability to operate equipment and tools of the trade, good analytic and problem solving skills, excellent time management skills, and the ability to communicate well are just some of the skills that I possess, which make me an excellent contender for this job.

How do you feel about working at a position in which you have to be at the mercy of inclement weather conditions at times?
Inclement weather comes with the territory. I do not mind working during severe weather conditions, as I am always prepared to keep myself safe from its effects.

As a building maintenance technician, how well do you work with other people?
I am a people person which makes things easy for me to handle where liaising with other people is concerned. I believe that to do something absolutely accurately and within guidelines, one has to work in conjunction with other people and departments.

Tell us of your biggest achievement so far.
Not too long ago, I was challenged to replace an entire HVAC system with an updated one, for a large residential building, with minimum downtime. After much deliberation and thought, I managed to do this with just 3 minutes of downtime.
