While working as a computer science teacher, I have performed many duties such as creating and implementing curriculum and lesson plans and assisting students in developing concepts. I am highly knowledgeable about the subject matter, which makes me a good individual to work in this position. Teaching is actually a lot of fun, and I don’t feel any stress associated with it. The pressure of deadlines during exams is of course there, but I handle it efficiently.
7. Tell me about a time when you made a mistake.
There was a time when I was teaching an advanced computer science concept that I was not too clear about. I said something wrong, which one of the students pointed out. I quickly realized that I had made a mistake, apologized, and proceeded to let the student teach the concept to the whole class, as well as myself.

Academically, I have not failed in my life. Professionally, I did once. Years ago, when I was just starting out my career, I was asked to create my first lesson plan, and it terrified me to the extent that I couldn’t do it. But that was a one-time event, and I learned how to be self-sufficient after that.

I love the fact that I get to increase other people’s knowledge, and in the process, increase my own too.

I do not dislike anything about this work, as it was my choice to take this up as a career.

I believe in keeping my head down and working. I don’t become part of negative situations. If they occur, I excuse myself and move on.

I understand that all of us deal with so much in life, and it is impossible to be cheerful all the time. If a student is not in the best of moods, I work with them to ensure that they are made comfortable. Judging is not my thing.
