Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist Cover Letter Sample

Whether you are a rookie or a specialist, a hiring manager will not look at your cover letter with too much interest if he or she sees that you haven’t put in too much effort. Setting the stage is important. How you begin your cover letter decides how it is going to end up for you. The first line of your cover letter must be exceptionally bold and interesting if you intend to make the hiring manager sit up in his seat.

Gauging what the hiring manager wants to read is important. Mr. Jason Malfoy
Human Resource Manager
Safe Horizon
4520 Grape Avenue
Bronx, NY 44452

Dear Mr. Malfoy:

As an expert in assessing clients’ medical, psychological and economic situations to determine viability of and probability of success of vocational rehabilitation programs, I believe that I will be a direct and immediate asset at Safe Horizon in the role of Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist. Presently, I am working as a vocational rehabilitation specialist for Guardian Services, an organization that takes its clients’ rehabilitation needs quite seriously.

With my ability to maintain proactive dialogue with clients, plan holders and treatment providers, I have been successful in formulating core work plans that assist clients in returning to gainful work. Owing to the exceptional exposure that I possess in creating and maintaining effective liaison with public services, I have been exceptionally efficacious in acquiring vocational services for my clients – always within the time provided as deadline. Reducing the duration of disability for my clients, and enhancing probability of rehabilitation success are two areas that I am most proficient in.

I introduced a program module that focused on performing transferable skills analysis and labor market surveys, resulting in a great increase in ease of benefit eligibility determination. If this is the type of diligence and hard work that you are looking for, I suggest that you meet with me in person. I will contact you soon to arrange an interview date and time, but until then, you can reach me at (000) 955-7454 if you require any additional information.
