A fruit packer’s cover letter should highlight his or her ability to handle fruit packing work.

Since cover letters are all about skills and competencies, one has to be exceptionally clear about this.

Writing a cover letter for a fruit packer position will require you to show that you are the best for the job.

Typically, information of your ability to pack fruit into the right type of cartons needs to be highlighted.

In addition, it is imperative that you show the recruiter that you are physically strong enough to handle heavy fruit boxes and crates.

Also, you must show that there is no one better to handle the work than you because you have superior fruit packing skills

Mr. Rodney Madison
Human Resources Manager
Gregory’s Fruit Farms
724 Beach Road SE
Newport News, VA 99013

Dear Mr. Madison:

I have been working as a food packer for 3 years, and would now like to extend my expertise to Gregory’s Fruit Farms.

As a fruit packer, I have performed many duties, such as selecting fruit, checking it for quality, and placing it in cartons. My resume will provide you with further details on this.

My skills in determining the right type of packing for each fruit item are exceptional. Knowing precisely in what ways both hard and soft fruits are packed, I will need a minimum or no training when I begin work with you.

Moreover, I am well-versed in wrapping and labeling fruit items according to information such as type, weight, and expected expiry. Also, my skills include the ability to create documentation for each fruit shipment.

Perhaps my best achievement has been to simultaneously work on four fruit packing projects, all of which were considered exceptionally well handled. Also, I possess knowledge of fruit isolation work (in cases of expired or rotten fruit), and the best ways in which disposal can be managed.

I am confident that once we have met up in person, you will also agree that I am the best person to hire as a fruit picker at Gregory’s Fruit Farms. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Fredrick Daemon
