1. How are you qualified to work as a loss prevention manager at our company?

I am exceptionally experienced in handling loss prevention work. Since I stepped into this work as a loss prevention officer 5 years ago, I am quite familiar with the details of loss prevention work, and can easily strategize plans to minimize loss within assigned areas. In addition to this, I have great experience in reinforcing asset protection and safety awareness by ensuring that all grounds are covered.

2. As a loss prevention manager, what have been your prime duties in the past?

In the role of a loss prevention manager, I have been actively involved in advising retail establishments on the development of loss prevention procedures, along with ensuring that surveillance equipment is properly installed and monitored, keeping a lookout for nefarious activities, and ensuring that any odd happenings are investigated, and interviewing individuals suspected of shoplifting or internal theft.

3. What do you find to be the most difficult in this work?

The work is challenging for sure. While I might not call it difficult, I find proving a theft to be quite challenging, especially in instances where technology has not been a friend.

4. And how do you overcome this challenge?

Making sure that I work thoroughly to determine how a certain theft or loss has occurred is something that I focus on. I ensure that I go through each detail minutely and determine what security breach led to the loss.

5. Have you ever found yourself in a situation where your instincts were not spot on?

I believe that one’s instincts can become wonky at times. However, to date, my instincts have always been spot on. But I do give people and situations the benefit of doubt until I can prove things.

6. What are your 5 year future plans?

I anticipate heading loss prevention teams as a specialist within the next 5 years!
