Tell us a little about the duties that you have performed in the role of a fast food assistant manager.

I have been working as an assistant manager in a fast-food capacity for 3 years now. My main work has been to ensure the ongoing training and development of staff members.

Specifically, I have been responsible for hiring and training new staff members, overseeing restaurant operations, addressing inventory, and organizing stock.

Also, overseeing the maintenance of the facility has been part of my work. In addition, my work has included oversight of patron services and handling complaints in an appropriate manner.

What skills do you possess which make you an excellent person to hire at this position?

I possess excellent leadership qualities, which make it easy for me to set rules and procedures. Also, I know restaurant operations inside out which is why I can effectively oversee the work.

Additionally, I am well-versed in overseeing and leading the work of waiters, servers, kitchen personnel, and cleaning staff so that all tasks are properly coordinated.

Why did you choose to work in this capacity?

I have always been a great leader. This coupled with my interest in the foodservice industry led me to eventually obtain a position as a fast food assistant manager.

On a scale of 1 to 10, where do you rate your leadership qualities?

I would give myself a realistic 7.

Why did you rate yourself at this point?

I know my work quite well. However, I feel that there is always more to learn, which is why I stand at a 7.

What plans do you have for the future?

At the moment, I am concentrating on polishing my skills. Eventually, I would like to work in a general manager role, within a restaurant capacity.
