Example of Resume for Management Position

Updated on: July 25, 2019

The manager is a broad term used to define a position of authority within an organization.

Managers work in different capacities – their actual work depends on the type of organization that they are working for and the kind of project entrusted to them.

How managers write their resumes also depends on these two factors.

A general management resume will include a professional summary that states an individual’s ability to manage people and designated work.

Also, a competencies section that  highlights his skills and actual work experience that has eventually led him to apply for a managerial position.

Working as a manager is a tricky job – one is always managing crises, mollifying underlings and handling irate customers. But it is also rewarding.
