In addition to this, it is imperative for people working as lead carpenters to ensure that work processes are finished on time and that quality control is maintained.
3. Speaking of quality, how do you ensure that quality control is never an issue?
I am a perfectionist when it comes to quality control, which means that I never compromise on the quality of my work or that of the crew that I am managing and overseeing. I have controls in place that ensure that quality is never an issue.
4. Apart from the regular work of a carpenter, what other areas are you required to handle in this role?
Apart from carpentry work, I have been handling the preparation of estimates, reports, and requisitions.
5. How important is training when it comes to working as a lead carpenter?
If you mean how important is it to make sure that training is provided to carpenters, it is exceptionally important – in fact, nothing is more important than continuous training in this regard.
6. What are your future aspirations?
In the near future, I hope to start my own furniture shop, a feat that I am learning the ropes for and working diligently towards.
