Barista Cover Letter Sample

One cover letter for barista position must never be identical to others. That is to say, each cover letter must be an individual entity.

While hiring managers do not know whether you have written a similar cover letter before, but they can gauge that your cover letter is not suited to their needs if it is a generic one.

How to write a good barista cover letter?

A good cover letter is nothing more than an attractive piece of writing that is well-structured and relevant.

When you keep both structure and relevance in mind, you are showing the hiring manager that you have spent both time and effort in creating your cover letter.

If you can prove that you are a serious candidate, your cover letter will be automatically accepted, and the next step is the interview!

Dear Mr. Gotham:

This letter and the attached resume is a strong expression of interest in Barista position at Coffee Seeds Café. The last five years that I have spent working as a Barista at Corgi’s Coffee Place have translated into a great learning experience for me. Utilizing my insight as a barista, I will be able to contribute significantly.

I am not only proficient in creating popular coffee blends but has also received exposure to handling food orders. Over the years that I have worked at busy coffee shops, I learned much about concocting new flavors of lattes, a feat that was a hit amongst patrons.

Perhaps my most significant achievement was the development of a potent coffee blend, coined Abraham’s Ale, which became famous enough to increase the coffee shop’s customer base by a staggering 65% in 3 months! The revenues that came with this increase in customers was extremely large, earning me quite an excellent reputation within the café.

Anticipating providing the same (hopefully higher) level of commitment to Coffee Seeds Café, I would like to meet with you in person. I will contact your office to set up a meeting time soon. Until then, please feel free to call me if you need any further information.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
