Nursing Home Volunteer cover letter writing is not as easy as it was some years ago, when all you had to do was write something akin to I am interested in the job, and my resume is attached.
Cover letters now require one to write much in terms of skills and knowledge information.
Providing this information to hiring managers means that you are making yourself come across as an individual who knows it all, and is willing to provide you with the benefit of what he can do.

I am very interested in working as a volunteer at Sava Senior Care Home. As someone who has an inherent love for helping people out, especially seniors, I cannot explain how excited I am at the opportunity of working here. Please go through the enclosed resume to determine my profile.
Last summer, I worked for Rainbow People in a volunteer capacity for three months. The experience was fulfilling enough for me to decide that I wanted to take it a step further. During this time, I learned a lot about handling care work for assigned patients, including personal assistance, counseling, patient education, and patient monitoring. During a particularly harrowing incident, I managed to save the life of a patient by recognizing the early signs of a heart attack and providing immediate emergency response care. By nature, I am compassionate and love helping people out, which is why I have been successful in my previous stint as a volunteer in a nursing home. This time around, I am confident that I will be even more so.
