Mr. Welsh Weaver
Human Resources Manager
Southern Cross Community Healthcare
64 Robins Avenue
Plymouth, MA 73904

Dear Mr. Weaver:

I discovered that there is an open position for a disability worker at Southern Cross Community Healthcare while going through the classifieds. I am sure that I fit the description perfectly, owing to extensive knowledge of this work, and an inherent interest in it.

Last year, I provided voluntary services to a local facility for the disabled. This stint was short, but it taught me a great deal. I am now familiar with the different ways in which clients can be engaged so as to obtain information about their personality traits. This, in turn, helps with creating and implementing care plans for them. I am particularly interested in providing one on one services to assigned clients so that they can benefit in terms of physical and emotional support.

As far as my personality is concerned, I am a pleasant individual, with a friendly demeanor, which makes it easy for people to take to me. Also, I am physically strong, allowing me to assist clients who need help with mobility.

Please refer to the enclosed resume for further details about my candidature. I will remain in contact with your office so that a mutually convenient interview time can be arranged. Until then, I am available at (000) 585-7896 if you need to reach me.

Thank you for your consideration of me as a candidate for the Disability Support Worker position at Southern Cross Community Healthcare.

Sincerely,

Sybil Chandler
