Animal Trainer Cover Letter Sample

Updated on: April 28, 2018

Despite many people feeling that it is not necessary to send in a cover letter with a resume, a cover letter is critical to submitting.

This is because this document provides hiring managers with great information about your abilities, and how you can become an essential individual to the growth of their organization.

When you think of the term “cover letter”, think of how much skill you have to do justice to the job. If you can make it known to the hiring manager that you will be contributory from day 1, you have a great chance of getting into the organization.

On the other hand, if your cover letter does not say what it is supposed to, you can get into a lot of trouble, since the chances of you being called in for an interview diminish significantly.

For an animal trainer position, you can look through the following cover letter sample for assistance:

Mr. Jim Trump
Human Resource Manager
Omaha Humane Society
196 Green Road
North Platte, NE 03780

Dear Mr. Trump:

Admitting that I am an animal lover does not wholly define how I am well-suited for an Animal Trainer position at Omaha Humane Society. Along with the fact that animal welfare is my top priority, I have been actively involved in a wide variety of animal training activities, spanning six years. If you require more information on this, please look through the enclosed resume.

As an animal trainer in many large capacities, I am capable of performing a lot of activities, including animal assessments, initial evaluations, and training. Developing, and implementing core training programs to ensure that all assigned animals are provided with training according to their specific requirements is my niche.

In addition to this, I have been a great contributor to the Animal Psychology module of my present place of work, which focuses on the emotional well-being of animals within the program. As far as grooming is concerned, animals assigned to me are always a class apart due to their physical looks, as I am trained in determining individual grooming requirements, and can quickly provide interventions based on them.

I believe that I can provide you with a broader overview of my comprehension of animal training and management skills in a face to face meeting. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Greta Malcolm
