Writing a cover letter is not everyone’s ballgame, but those who can write them well, are usually picked out from the lot, and given jobs immediately.
The job market globally isn’t much to look at. And if you miss the opportunity to impress a hiring manager, there is a higher chance of you being rejected, than when you pay particular attention to what is being written in one.
A cover letter should be able to highlight you for what you are – if you are an individual who is exceptionally good at what he or she does, make sure that your cover letter highlights this fact. Any problems or limitations that you may have must not be mentioned though.
