Position Overview

An Uber expert is not the same thing as an Uber driver as many people tend to believe. In fact, the former actually provides assistance to the latter.

Uber experts are hired by Uber to provide logistic and administrative help to the people working for the company, especially the drivers.

They assist them in determining the causes of problems and issues and help them in resolving them effectively.

Uber experts are also responsible for hiring new drivers and determining if their profiles are up to the mark.

Position Requirements

While there are no formal education requirements to work as an Uber expert, you have to possess a high school diploma or a GED equivalent at the very least. A bachelor’s degree in business with a major in management may be preferred.

Some exposure to retail, sales, client-facing, or/and customer service experience will be a plus point if you want to work in this position.

In addition to this, you will need to be comfortable learning and adapting to new technology, and possess the ability to interact and connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
