What makes you a great person to hire as a medical eligibility specialist?

I have 5+ years of experience in a medical eligibility specialist capacity. With such great experience and corresponding skills, I am sure that there is no one else as eligible as I am for this position. Specifically, I am well-versed in analyzing applications and supporting documents to determine qualifications for programs and resources.

In addition, I am competent in interviewing patients in order to figure out if they actually qualify or not. Also, I am capable of matching patients with available resources, a skill that I am exceptionally proud of, and have gained great insight due to.

What is the one thing that you find most challenging about this work?

I believe that actually finding a program that meets a client’s requirements by 100% is quite a challenging job to do.

What do you do to make sure that you can meet a client’s requirements?

Realistically speaking, it is not possible to meet a client’s requirements by 100% every time. However, there have been times when I have made this possible, through the implementation of well-placed research and follow-up programs.

Tell us a little bit about your most recent achievement.

I am proud to say that I have many achievements to my name. The most recent is the time when I managed to arrange for medical resources for 10 patients suffering from separate autoimmune diseases. And I am happy to say that no case was rejected even once.

What advice would you give to a rookie, hoping to join a medical eligibility team?

I would tell her or him to brush up on their research skills, even if they feel that they are the best at it.

What are your future plans?

I intend to slowly work my way up to a directorial position, and work in a mentorship role soon.
