Elaborating your resume with flashy graphics and fonts that are hardly legible isn’t going to get you the job. It is what the content of your cover letter says that will get you to the interview stage. The profile that you highlight in your cover letter should be honest and all-encompassing. Never before has so much information been available on anyone as it is now. Employers have a tendency to look you up and find out how much truth there is in what you state in your cover letter.

When writing a hotel porter cover letter, make sure that you provide only the information that an employer will be interested in reading. Unfocused or unwanted information threatens the wholesomeness of your cover letter. Focus your cover letter on what you can do for the employer and how you intend to make a difference by contributing effectively. Do not simply state facts – back them up with examples as much as possible.

Remember, the more eloquent you are about what you are capable of, the better you will be able to make the reader understand your suitability for his or her organization.
