The primary job of an individual at the position of an integration manager is to help an organization improve its operating processes, and manufacturing systems.

People working in this position need to use their computer and programming skills to review the company’s information and recommend improvements.

It is imperative for integration managers to hold degrees in computer sciences, as there is a lot of technology involved here. They must have a knack for troubleshooting and possess the ability to handle complex operating system problems.

Integration Manager Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and manage integration roadmaps for assigned areas within the company.

• Develop and implement integration plans and proactively address potential risks to timelines, scopes, and value captures.

• Establish best practice workflow, including written processes, policies, and procedures to support customer management of products.

• Provide advanced analytics and data management to assigned data sets.

• Perform quality checks on customer data and deliverables, and create accountability systems which correlate with integrations.

• Keep abreast of technical integration technologies and web and database ones, aiming to ensure that decisions are made expertly.

• Handle project plan documentation such as development and updating of records.

• Work with clients and partners on fit-gap analysis, and other forms of business analysis, aimed at ensuring that scoping and documentation can be produced expertly.

• Shepherd the company through the integration process, ensuring that any issues along the way are appropriately handled, and addressed.

• Act as a consultant, facilitator, and bridge builder between the different areas of the company, ensuring that everyone is on the same page.
