Gymnastics Coach Cover Letter Sample

Updated on: February 15, 2018

A gymnastics coach cover letter needs to be exceptionally profoundly written if it is required to make a positive mark on the reader.

Unfortunately, not many cover letters leave a positive impression.

That is because most of them are written “selfishly”, indicating that an applicant is more interested in what she or he will gain, once hired at a position. It should be the other way around.

It is obvious that an applicant is interested in a job for her or his own benefit, but there is really no need to make it too obvious by actually writing it down. Instead, one should concentrate on the benefit that an applicant will provide to a prospective employer.

Here is how this can be done:

Mr. Jeff Young
Human Resource Manager
South Shore YMCA
299 Petherton Way
Peachtree Corners, GA10440

Dear Mr. Young:

The position of a gymnastics coach is a challenging one, for which I strongly believe that I am well-qualified. My professional experience in this regard is solid, and well-rounded, which I am sure will allow me to contribute to South Shore YMCA tremendously.

Once you have seen me in action, you will soon find out that I am not your average, run of the mill gymnastics coach. With my ability to develop and plan age-appropriate gymnastics for participants, and develop a pre-team and Level 1 competitive team program to ensure strong fundamentals, this end of your facility will thrive enormously.

I am a thorough professional when it comes to demonstrating, modeling, and gearing gymnastics programs to the needs of individual participants, with concern for their interests, limitations, and special talents. Having worked in this capacity for over 8 years, I am exceptionally talented in training athletes for competitions, and coordinating seasonal and intermittent games. Moreover, I am a proven leader when it comes to handling a team of gymnastics trainers, owing to my ability to manage gym floor activities, and meet the dynamic training needs of each staff member.

I intend to meet with you in person to provide you with a much wider view of my abilities as a gymnastics coach. I will contact you next week to set up an interview. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
