2. What duties have you performed in the role of a dump truck driver?
As a dump truck driver, I have been busy operating and calibrating dump trucks, and associated machinery. Specifically, my work involves transporting crushed rock, sand, and gravel to and from specified locations. Ensuring that materials are properly loaded and unloaded is part of my work. My work also involves inspecting assigned trucks before and after hauls and performing regular and preventative maintenance on them to ensure excellent working order.
3. What skills do you possess which make you an excellent person to hire as a dump truck driver?
I am skilled in driving and operating complex and standard dump trucks. Particularly, I am well-versed in performing daily pre and post-trip inspections, checking fluids and tires, and attaching and removing pup trails. Unless I have worked on a rotating shift previously, I do not mind working one. I am physically agile enough to be able to handle it.

I am unique because I can operate and drive any dump truck. I can work with anyone and can manage my work in accordance with rules and regulations.

19. Can you tell me about a difficult situation that you were part of?
I was on a deadline, and there was a traffic jam. I was stuck in it for 2 hours and was obviously behind schedule. This meant that my next haul would have been late too. However, I managed to take a detour and got to my destination in time for the next haul to be not too late. That was quite a harrowing time for me, but I managed it as best as I could.

I love the fact that I get to work with great people, from whom I learn a lot.

I hope to be working as a dump truck fleet manager within the next 5 years.
