Provider Relations Cover Letter Sample

Updated on: February 26, 2016

There is no such thing as a cover letter that is absolutely spot on with the employer’s requirements. A close match is possible and this is what we have to aim for. Write your cover letter as close to what the employer needs and you won’t have to target writing one that is deemed perfect in every sense.

Let us look at provider relations cover letter writing from the 1 to 10 scale point of view. If your cover letter stands at 7, your chances of being contacted by the employer for an interview increase manifold. A 5 or even a 6 might not be considered great. And if it is a 9, well, you can imagine the ecstasy at the part of the employer!

Always aim high when you write a cover letter for provider relations resume but there is no need to feel discouraged if you cannot. Just make sure that you do your best and leave the rest to the employer. Make your language strong and the information on your cover letter relevant and you will not have to worry about it being rejected or filed away.

Mr. Joseph Green
Human Resource Manager
Bloomington Hospital
8971 Dany Road
Tilton, NH 43652

Dear Mr. Green:

Realizing the need for efficiency in the intricate network that holds providers, health plan initiators and practice manager together, I would like to offer my services in effectively building and nurturing positive relations between the three.

As a passionate individual who has excellent communication and decision making skills, I will be an asset to Bloomington Hospital in the role of a Provider Relations Specialist. Particularly, I am well-versed in the following areas:

• Identification and remediation to ensure smooth claims handling operations
• Utilizing resources to efficiently navigate provider network, in a bid to accurately verify eligibility and provide verification of benefits
• Managing provider demographic information changes such as addresses and tax ID numbers in a confidential manner
• Acting as a source to external provider relations representatives on both contracting and customer care questions

This is just a short version of what I can accomplish by representing your hospital as a provider relations representative. There is much more where this came from and I would be happy to sit with you and provide you with a broader overview of my abilities. I will contact your secretary next week to set up an interview date. Alternately, you can reach me at (000) 124-4353.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
